About the Role: Data Analyst
As a Data Analyst at Urban Company, you will help build a robust data warehouse and reporting ecosystem that powers decision-making across the business. Your work will ensure a single source of truth for key metrics, enable self-service analytics, and support advanced data science initiatives.
🔑 Responsibilities
- Design accurate and scalable schemas to capture granular data.
- Build and maintain single-source definitions for business-critical metrics.
- Develop alerts for pipeline issues and ensure high data quality.
- Perform deep-dive analyses to uncover factors influencing business performance.
- Support fraud detection, retention analysis, customer segmentation, and personalization use cases.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to align data infrastructure with business needs.
📌 Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or data warehousing.
- Strong skills in SQL (mandatory) and Python.
- Problem-solving mindset with strong business acumen.
- Curiosity to understand the “why” behind data and align with long-term goals.
- Experience with tools like Snowflake, DBT, and Superset (a plus).
