Job Role: Financial Analyst
Location: Gurgaon, Haryana, India
Work Mode: Hybrid (11 AM – 7:30 PM shift)
The Financial Analyst will be a key member of the Regulatory Reporting team under the Financial Reporting Cluster. This position focuses on preparing accurate regulatory filings in compliance with Federal Reserve guidelines, ensuring strong internal controls, and supporting projects that drive automation and simplification in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
As a Financial Analyst at American Express, you will:
- Prepare regulatory filings, supporting documentation, and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Reserve requirements, SOX, and other company policies.
- Strengthen the control and compliance environment across processes.
- Support transformation projects, automation, and process simplification.
- Respond to inquiries from regulators, the General Counsel’s Office, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, market controllers, and global reporting leaders.
- Contribute to work-life balance initiatives while driving high-performance culture.

Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA preferred.

- Knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, PRSA, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience in regulatory or external reporting is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Familiarity with Oracle, Essbase, RRA architecture desirable.
