Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Execute Client Onboarding (COB) and KYC processes in accordance with jurisdictional and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure that all account opening requests are processed accurately and within specified timelines, enabling timely trade execution.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation Level Agreements (OLAs).
  • Handle documentation, data entry, verification, and validation during the onboarding process.
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to update them on AML, KYC, and AFC compliance changes.
  • Coordinate with clients and internal departments to ensure the completeness and accuracy of KYC information.
  • Implement any regulatory changes with minimal disruption to ongoing processes.
  • Maintain data integrity and ensure governance standards are upheld in all KYC documentation and systems.
  • Help identify and escalate potential compliance issues or risks in client profiles or transaction behavior.
  • Continuously improve internal processes by contributing to automation, standardization, and operational efficiency efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must possess a graduate degree in any discipline (Commerce, Finance, or Business-related fields preferred).
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in corporate banking, client onboarding, or related KYC functions is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of banking systems, client records, and KYC regulations.
  • Attention to detail and a keen sense of accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) and internal KYC systems or CRMs.
  • Should be a team player and capable of adapting to dynamic processes.
